Momentum are delighted to have recently furnished the brand new headquarters for the IM Group in Solihull. Working with Interior Designers at Squaredot, Momentum created a furniture package which included pieces from some of the best manufacturers in the UK & Europe worth £1.4million for the state-of-the-art site.
“The headquarters are best in class and an example of all the greatest elements of design that goes into creating a landmark building that people will enjoy working in." Tim Wooldridge, Managing Director of IMP on the new HQ.
Every staff member at the new IM HQ has an electric height adjustable desk from Holmris and supportive Flokk task seating with custom-designed Iduna storage units incorporating fabric-wrapped doors for soundproofing.
The Boardroom contains a unique and shaped table made from the new material Kerrock, stronger and better than Corian, with fabulous Ray chairs from Brunner that will shortly become design classics. In the breakout spaces and the many open plan meeting areas you can find all sorts of chairs and tables in new shapes and unique materials from Andreu World, Capdell, Naughtone, Modus, B&B Italia, De Vorm, RS Barcelona, Lema, Kusch, Quinti Sedute and even coffee tables made from recycled skateboards. Special acoustic pods from Vank in Poland complete the European designed look.
The three outdoor terraces see colourful tables and chairs from Fast Spa, Jennifer Newman, Extremis and special pavilions from Kettal; this project is a real mix of Italian, Spanish, Danish, Portuguese, Polish and British design.
“With wellbeing at its heart, its layout offers a more flexible approach to working with collaborative working zones, breakout areas, quiet booths, wi-fi enabled terraces and outdoor seating areas to relax or work in”, Tim Wooldridge.
To be a part of such a large project is a privilege for a company like Momentum and we feel we added value to the project with our customer focus and service. Collaboratively working with IM Properties, Squaredot and the contractor BAM to produce the interior of this fabulous building, we are delighted with the end result.
IM believes the new office ‘rivals any offices previously seen outside of the capital’.
