The WISE building at The Centre for Alternative Technology Machynlleth, Wales was selected as the No.1 Building in the Telegraph Review of the Year 2010 by Ellis Woodman.
He states: “The Centre for Alternative Technology is an organisation with strong roots in the hippy movement that now focuses on best practice in sustainability. Its new building has been constructed from materials that require minimum levels of energy to produce and transport to site, the most striking of which is the rammed earth used for th walls of the cylindrical auditorium at the heart of the scheme. This is an extremely worthy building but a ravishingly beautiful one too”.

Originally built in 1855, the historic Ebenezer Chapel on Charles Street in Cardiff has recently undergone a major refurbishment to give the building a new lease of life.
The new STAR Hub located at Splott Park is a new £6 million purpose built building, designed by Stride Treglown Architects and built by Wilmott Dixon. The new Hub offers a range of facilities for the local community including a swimming pool, gym, fitness suite, library, multi-use community rooms and a café.
The refurbishment of this grand building brings public arts facilities and opportunities to a town that has suffered from an economic decline in recent years. An £8M redevelopment programme supported by the Welsh Government, European regional development fund, Heritage lottery fund and Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council bought this 19th century magistrates court, holding cells and civic centre into the 21st Century.
Originally built in 1926 the Penarth Pier Pavilion has recently undergone major refurbishment. The £4.2 refurbishment of the pavilion reached completion and was open again to the public on 1st of December 2013.
As one of few remaining Victorian Piers in Wales, the project involved a careful refurbishment of the art deco style Grade II listed pavilion. This refurbishment intended to spark a resurgence of interest in the pavilion returning it the centre of the Penarth community. It has since been inundated with visitors and has won awards including the Community Benefit award and the Project of the Year 2014 by RICS awards 2014.

Land's End Airport is owned and run by the Isles of Scilly Steamship Group. They provide public flights to the Isles of Scilly as well as commercial flying activities such as aerial photography and charter work. Momentum worked directly with the designer, Steve Coombe of 3idog, to help fulfil the design brief he had agreed with the airport for their new terminal.
